I would like to see the ability to use LDAP authentication for VPN, so that I can eliminate RADIUS/IAS from my servers.

That would be a useful infeature in some circumstances.

I've been thinking the same thing!

Over the Christmas holiday I upgraded our ISA 2004 server to 2006. I found the LDAP authentication for listeners very useful; we now allow users to change their passwords via the OWA logon screen.

However after seeing this feature, I was surprised to find that VPN authentication could still only use RADIUS, and not LDAP also. Usually when M$ add a feature, it's applied to more than one aspect of the product!
