I have an issue where users run an application via web browser pointing to 127.0.0.1.  That is they run the application via the URL http://localhost

This request is processed by the ISA 2006 server which blocks the request.

I am unable to set the browser on the client PC's to "Bypass Proxy for Local Addresses" due to another issue not to do with ISA. If I could then I would not have the problem.

The only rule I have on the Firewall is:

Allow all Outbound Traffic from All Networks(and Localhost) to All Networks.

How do I configure ISA to allow access as I require ?

Thanks.

Add the IP Address 127.0.0.1 or localhost in the Exception list.

Abdul..thanks for that. I have tried adding 127.0.0.1 to the Exceptions list in I.E that but it doesn't work.

The reason for this is that the client PC's connect into the Network using some software called Mobilink - this overides all the settings in I.E and directs all the traffic to the Proxy/ISA Server, so I am hoping there is something in ISA that I can configure.

Abdul - I had already tried that and it didn't work. However, I have now installed the Microsoft Firewall Client and it all works ok. Thanks for your help.
