I recently inherited an ISA Server 2006 along w/ a job in the IT Dept at a small /medium sized business. I am very much feeling my way through ISA and it's potential. It's an amazing thing, but very new to me.
Our ISA Firewall is set up as a gateway server. It resides on a member server on our domain.
Right now we allow certain machines from the network out to the internet w/ varying degrees of freedom, all controlled by LAN IP. I want to limit it to only specific machines w/ a specific user logged in having access.
If I make a group in ISA that has, say, my domain user in it and use that as a condition in the access rule that allows me full web access, I can't get out. But If I allow the condition All Users I can get out.

What am I missing?
(other than a whole bunch of knowledge)

You need to configure the client computers as either Web Proxy or Firewall clients depending on the protocols you require.
