I am trying to publish the web management interface for my Lyris listserver on ISA2000. I have created the destination set to point to the DNS name of my server (list.ABCco.com) and the external IP designated for DNS. I then created my web publishing rule to redirect all requests to the internal IP on the list server.

But I still can't access the web interface for the list server... it doesn't need a special port, since it's just HTTP it should use 80. Am I missing something??

Good day,

When you published did you create a separate listener? If there is another server using port 80 already published you may want to take this approach.

Yes, I have created a listener to listen on the public IP. I've tried using both a web publishing rule and a server publishing rule, and neither one works.

My destination set for "list server" points to "list.mycompany.com". My web publising rule uses this DS, and redirects requests to the server's internal ip, and the "send original host header" is checked.

If I use the server publishing rule, the internal & external ip's are set correctly, and the mapped protocol is HTTP Server.

My concern is that this list server runs its own web-server code, it doesn't use IIS - can ISA talk to other web services (like apache)?? Or is IIS the only one it plays nice with?
