Hi,
I've inherited an 2004 ISA server and the log files are huge and have left me with just 800mb of free space. The problem message I get when trying to change the logfile size and storage limits is below:

The Changes cannot be Saved"
"The MSDE feature is currently not installed. To install MSDE, in the Add/Remove Programs applet, select Microsoft ISA Server 2004 and click Change. Then, in the Microsoft ISA Server 2004 Installation Wizard use the Modify option to add MSDE to the installation.
The error occurred on object 'SERVER01' of class 'Array' in the array scope."

Unfortunately, I have no staging area for this product and I don't want to naff around with add remove at this stage so am left to try and resolve while largely online.

The logging is set up as MSDE database, so not too sure why I can't edit the parameters of this configuration.

Do I need to stop the firewall service before I can make these changes?

Thanks for taking a look at my question.
