Hi,

I'm in the process of migrating from WinProxy to ISA Server (standard) 2006 on a Windows 2003 server box. For some reason I can't create a VPN connection from my wireless laptop that is part of my internal network to my corporate VPN server. I was told the VPN is IPSEC based.
My ISA allows any outbound traffic from the internal network for any protocol.

I'm looking for help....

I ended up reapplying the Windows 2003 service pack. This fixed my issue.

You might also want to consider a possible RSS bug if you are using Windows Server 2003 SP2.

Tom

In fact, after applying servicepack 2 again (which fixed my issue) I found the reference to KB948496 in my event log. Just in case I applied the patch. I never saw this event log entry when I used to have the problem.

Yes, make sure you disasble the RSS and other scalable networking pack features after installing SP2.

Tom
