Hey All!
We are experiencing a very perplexing issue with ISA 2006. We have approximately 40,000 users that use ISA as a web caching proxy with redundant Content Keeper appliances as a filtering solution. The front end is load balanced with redundant F5 units on a three server ISA array. User browser proxies are set to a virtual proxy IP. During the day, multiple but random users will suddenly lose their Internet connection from 30 seconds up to a few minutes and then the problem clears up. When we monitor traffic from sniffers placed between the ISA's and the F5's we see massive resets during the outage periods in the captures but there is no indication of cause, just that the ISA sends out connection resets. The ISA logs do not indicate any issues. Microsoft support has optimized TCP/IP, updated ISA software, disabled NIC teaming, and performed best practices adjustments. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
