Hi, i am running ISA 2006SP1 on Win2k3SP2. On the desktop i have XP SP2 with MediaPlayer 9. I do integrated auth only. Each time when i want to view a MediaPlayer content, ISA sends an authentication request to the client. When i connect the same client to the old ISA Server 2000, it works without extra authentication windows. It seems that the ISA2006 reacts different to ISA2000. As far as i remember, for ISA2000 in the early beginning there was the same problem, but Microsoft offered an Hotfix. Any ideas, how to fix this problem on ISA2006? kr Ralph

Hot fix never worked for me. Set the WMP to not use a proxy. The setting with HTTP needs to be none instead of browser. Make sure the Firewall Client is installed to handle the authentication (SecureNAT Clients can't authenticate).

Hi, itīs a problem related to how MP calculates the security zone. Try to modify the proxy settings of your browser. Instead of the use of the ip-address of your ISA, put in the fqdn. In my case, the are no auth prompts anymore. Ralph
