We are currently running ISA Management on our proxy. We have two groups setup. Limited access and full access. We have installed Microsoft Firewall client on each computer. We do not have a domain setup.

The problem is users can bypass the proxy by going to tools, internet options, connections, lan settings, and unchecking it.

Can we stop this from happening? Also, netscape seems to be working, any ideas how to stop that.

Last, some computers on the proxy cannot acccess certain websites that seem to call out to a program that loads in the browser.

I look forward to any input you can offer, if any. Thanks!

Don't have your setup but, if you have the ISA firewall client installed it is what the browser is using to get to the proxy if they uncheck it in the browser.

Check the access logs for the firewall client

Depending on the size of your company might want to look at client address sets for the permissions. That way you can remove the ISA firewall client.

Need more details on your setup as so many different things could be possible solutions.
