When I initially setup a web listener to publish my exchange 2007 services, I set it to listen on all ips on the external network.

Now that Exchange publishing is done and I want to create a new listener and rule for web site, I am getting an error about the same port / ip in use by another rule.

So i then added a new publicly resolveable IP to the external interface of ISA and want to setup a new listener to listen only on that IP..

My question is this, If I change the networks tab of the Exchange listener to only listen on one of the IPs instead of all (specified IP) and apply the changes will that interrupt all of the traffice destined for Exchange ?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Hi Chris,

It should be listening on the IP address that resolves the FQDN that connections them to the Exchange Web Services.

HTH,
Tom
