I have created an array of ISA 06 Servers with NLB. It works fine. Is it possible to make the advanced configuration of NLB? For example, to manage the balance between the nods of the array (like in Citrix Load Balance Management).

By default ISA configures NLB to use single affinity with equal load on all array members (you can see this by looking at the NIC details)

From what I understand it is not recommended to edit the NLB parameters as ISA "owns" these once integrated NLB is enabled. I also think that you get an ISA alert if you try to make direct changes (e.g. outside the ISA gui) too.

I guess you could edit the parameters but I think ISA will put them back to default the next time the array members synchronises with the CSS. I would also guess that direct changes the default NLB settings is not supported by MS.

Lots of guesses, but hopefully they are quite educated based upon experience

Cheers

JJ
