HI

After a lot of posts and troubleshooting i finally i came to know that it is NOD32 (Anti Virus) which is conflicting with Firewall client. Because YAHOO messenger is not connecting and some other protocol settings are not worked, LIke REAL PLAYER is not working, BUT after removing NOD32 from machines I find that now yahoo messenger is working as per policy defined and REAL PLAYER and other settings are also working.

But I donot want to remove NOD32 as I find it best anti virus, Is there any way that I can use NOD32 with FIREWALL client Installed ??

There is a special HUG from him/her who gives me the solution .

I use Nod32 with ISA2004 Firewall client & have no problems. However I don't use Yahoo Messenger or Real Player. I suggest that you need to look at your Nod32 settings. There is a Nod32 support group at http://www.wilderssecurity.com/

Hi Nick,

So you're not seeing problems with NOD and the FWC? That's good.

Thanks!
Tom

My suggested steps would be to try using compatibility mode in IMON. Also uncheck the Potentially Dangerous Programs option in AMON.

i am using SBS2003 with ISA Server.  I am also using Nod32 as our company antivirus program.  I have not had any issues connecting to msn, aol etc as long as it is allowed.  Make sure you have Nod32 setup to use the proxy server to get updates.

I disallowed msn messenger and aol in the firewall client due to security reasons, but i tried enabling it and didnt seem to have any problems.

Hello guys,
If NOD32 cause FWC problems, configure NOD exceptions to exclude the folder with FWC files
