Im having some difficulties with access rules in ISA 2004 that I just set up. I got like 7 rules in place that seem to work for blocking exe's, streaming video, etc for our network. However theres now a small problem. The IAS / Proxy server is also a Remote Access Server for one of our employees in Florida. He remotes in to access our report manager stored on one of our webservers.

This no longer works with the installation of ISA server. He cannot get to http://pw-app/ReportManager anymore.
Some page cannot be displayed error. 12202. However If I make a rule that allows all outbound traffic FROM All Networks (and local host) TO All Networks (and local host) then it works fine. However having this rule in place basically wipes out my exe's denials and streaming video cuz Im basically allowing all traffic as my 1st rule.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Chugger,

Allowing all protocols access to all networks is a setup for having your firewall owned.

I'd consider cratering the firewall and starting over.
