Dear all,, at the moment I have a problem requesting an URL https://www.test.com:8443 And as a result I receive the following message. Network Access Message: The page cannot be displayed Technical Information (for Support personnel) Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests from this port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests. (12204) IP Address: 10.10.10.5 Date: 8/18/2006 12:55:53 P My configuration is SBS2003 Premium with SP1. ISA2004 SP2. Can someone help me with a step by step procedure. My experience is not so well with ISA2004 SP2. I suppose I must activate a port? Kind regards, Hans

Hi, it's working now but not for the 100%. I make the change with the tunnel port editor. If I call the URL in my browser it take some time. The build of the webpage is slow. Some parts are missing. With a few refreshes I reach the webpage. Then I make few changes on my webpage, again parts are missing. I did a test with bypassing the ISA2004, no problem at all. What goes wrong? Kind regards, Hans

Hi Hans, what's the exact URL you want to reach? Is that URL the only site you have problems with? What's the ISA logging telling you? ... Thanks, Stefaan

Hi Stefaan, https://www.hostingbelgie.com:8443/ All URL's are working even with https for banking, etc... If I put after the semi column a port number it goes wrong. I have a log- and reporting file. But how can I attach/place an attachment in our Forum? Kind regards, hans

Hi Stefaan, Accessing the https://www.hostingbelgie.com:8443/ after the update with the tunnel editor gives no problem. The problem I have is after the logon. Then arise the slow webpages and the missing icons. When I bypass my SBS2003 with an other pc directly connected to the real world there is no problem with the site. What do you mean with the certificate? Kind regards, Hans

Hi Hans, there are a number of things wrong with the server certificate: - the validity period has already expired.
- the common name on the certificate doesn't match the FQDN of the site.
- the certificate is issued by a non-trusted root CA.
- ...
In other words, it's good enough for testing purposes but certainly not for a production environment. Obviously I can't test beyond the logon page. However, I can take a look at it if you sent me the logon credentials in a private message. HTH, Stefaan

Hi Stefaan, all that is a bit chinese for me. I don't understand that the certificate doesn't match the FQDN of the site. The first time I use the forum I put my msg in a wrong discussion set. Obviously someone has given me a response. See url below. Now I have a second solution. http://forums.isaserver.org/fb.aspx?m=2002024748 I understand you are living in Belgium? Can you give me a call? 0475 808 734. Kind regards, Hans

Hi Hans, a port number is represented in two bytes. That means that the port value can range from 0 (x'0000') to 65535 (x'FFFF'). In the other topic the goal of the script is to extend the TunnelPortRange from 1 to 65000. So, nearly all possible ports. HTH, Stefaan
