I have setup a rule in ISA to forward FTP traffic to my FTP server, my layout is

ISA int  IP = 192.2.2.36

FTP IP = 192.2.2.46 with Gateway of 192.2.2.70(this is my sonicwall)

I have customers still accessing through the sonicwall but i have some new customers that i want to setup to access the FTP server viw ISA,(long term everyone will access through ISA)

If i set the gateway on the FTP server to 192.2.2.36 it works and sonicwall route doesn't,

I have tried adding a static route 192.2.2.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.2.2.70 metric 1

but still no joy.

Hi IanPaskin,
What you describe makes perfect sense - your FTP server doesn't know how to reply to the external request when it comes from a firewall that is not its default gateway.
