I have an install coming up on a single subnet network that will publish Exchange 2000 and numerous websites through ISA. I willbe providing DNS services for all sites I am hosting. For every service I am hosting do I put the publkic IP addressonto the ISA external NIC? i.e. public address for my mail server, DNS server, adn every unique web site? I plan to begin by having my ISA server have 2 NICs only...I plan to implement a DMZ eventually...also I plan to put the ISA server into my 2000 domain as kust a server w/ no AD for security...if all goes well I expect to be able to install ISA server and get these services published relatively easily...currently it seems from what I have read I need to have every public IP address assigned to the ISA external NIC, or can I use just a single IP for all of my different web sites..any info or pointers to make this simple install go smooothly will be appreciated..by the way GREAT ISA web site!

Hi Zaphod, You can publish as many sites as you want using a single IP address and using the Web Publihing Wizard. Make sure that you create a Destination Set for each of the sites, and in each Destination Set, make sure the FQDN for the site (as typed by the user) is included in the Destination Set. However, the same is not true for non-web related services. If you publish your DNS server using a Server Publishing Rule, you can only publish a single DNS server per IP address; if you want to publish a secondary DNS Server, you will have to add a second IP address to the external interface of the ISA Server.
