Hi All,

Hopeing you can help.

I have an ISA server already acting as a proxy for my organisations internet traffic. Internet traffic goes out through the proxy to a site we shall call site A. I have a new fixed line being installed and wish for all my internet traffic (so anything going through the proxy) to be sent out via this.

How do I do this?

The server has one nic with internal address on it.

I would guess that i use the route them to a different upstream server, and use the ip address of the firewall connected to the new line. But that is just a guess so would like pointing in the right direction. Thanks.

I appreciate your help.

Chris

Your current ISA has only 1 NIC?

Yes - it is currently configure with only one nic. It has a second disabled. Things are currently working fine with it.

It was like this when i started working on this site and have been meaning to get around to sorting it out.

Should i enable the other nic and connect that to the new line?

I'm trying to sort out your question. Can you expand on the functions of site A other than serving as the network edge? Are there clients in this site? Is this a remote office on a different sub? Is site A going to be the dmarc for the new connection?

With only 1 NIC, you will have limited ISA functionality and limited to only web protocols. I would consider enabling the second NIC.

You can setup and front-to-back configuration.

Internal network -  ISA – Site A FW
