I'm very new to the concept of the ISA Server. I've been asked to asisst on a project to setup a test environment to access software via the server, replicating a clients environment in the US. I have the relevant software available ISA Server 2004.

This server will be used as a reverse proxy with a firewall on either side, one beig stateless.

Here is a rough diagram of what we intend to do:

I didn't even know they made "stateless" firewalls anymore. At least not in the last five to ten years.

Anyhow, this is a HORK MODE configuration, unihomed ISA Firewall. Very POOR security design.

Will move this post to the Web proxy section.

Good luck.

Tom

There's no much info on that type of config on this site, since we don't really want to promote the low security configs.

There might be something on the ms.com/isa site.

If you want to perform a secure deployment (back to back or parallel ISA firewall) then we can help out with that pretty easily.

HTH,
Tom
