Hi,

I have a customer who has an SBS 2003 Server. They have non domain users that require access to the internet. As a temp solution I have excluded a range of addresses from dhcp and then assigned these addresses to the laptop users via reservations in dhcp. In ISA I have made a computer group and allowed them outbound all access to these selected addresses to the Internet. This works all ok but is there a better way ?

Any help appreicated.

Thanks,

If you do not require authentication for these users, then its fine.

if you do require authentication, then you have either to set these clients as Web Proxy Clients and/or Firewall Clients.

HTH,
Tarek
