Hello

Scenario:
Have 2 Exchange 2003 on a domain. Exch1 is Master and Exch2 Member Exchange. Both servers hold user mailboxes. On ISA2006 I have used OWA publishing rule forwarding all request to Exch1/exchange. Internally (LAN), users having their mailbox on Exch2 can access their mailbox through this URL: http://exch1/exchange/<username>. Exch1 redirects to Exch2 for respective mailboxes.  However, when users from Exch2 try to access from external network (Home / via internet), they are unable to.

I tried to create another OWA publishing rule which directs request to Exch2/exchange but it doesn't work. Is there any other way I can configure this?

I'm no Exchange Pro, but isn't this what FE servers are for? To route connections to the correct Exchange Mailbox server?

Yes, this is exactly what FE Exchange Servers do. However, they should be configured as such. And Shraneel did not tell us, whether this is the case.

@Shraneel:
It can be configured on the properties dialogs of the respective Exchange Servers.

Maybe you should also run the Exchange Best Practice Analyzer to check for problems in your deployment.

Best regards

Christoph
