Is there any guidelinies regarding configuring OWA to external users which is brilliant for most administrators ?

I have set it up with a verisign certificate, it works fine internal - but with the isa2004 server there is something wrong. I have tried a lot already. Right now i have:

Exported the certificate to the ISA 2004 server.
Run true the SSL Web Publishing Rule Wizard
Made sure i do get the correct server (ie. the owa server) but I get the error:
"
Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The target principal name is incorrect. (-2146893022) "

So i must have missed something but have no clue what so ever. It works fine internal alone, also I have listner to the correct domain -> I have double checked til ip's both external and internal, everything is correct.

I believe my hope is somekind of FAQ which I have missed on the web ?
