I installed the isa server on win2k3 with sp1 and featurepack1. But when ISA server starts i cant browse internet. If i stop the ISA Server in services then my net works fine on Server machine.
When ISA server is running the client machine display this error message 403 Forbiden ISA Server Denies The Specified URL. Please Help Me As Fast As U Can.

Hi yousaf3k

Have you installed the fix for running ISA on Win2k3 ?

For accessing the net from the ISA Server itself, you need to configure your IE as a webproxy client (see below).

How are your client computers configured ? Are they web proxy clients, SecureNAT clients, Firewall clients or some combination of the 3 above ?

For webproxy, go to IE, Tools, Internet Options, Connections tab, click on the LAN Settings button and configure IE on your client comps to use ISA Server's internal IP and port 8080 as proxy server.

For SecureNAT, configure TCP/IP on your client comps to use ISA internal IP address as the gateway.

For Firewall client, install the firewall client from \\<isa_server_name>\mspclnt share.

You can combine those three types of clients as you need.
