Hi.. have a problem over here.

I have set Up an Counter-Strike Server (Steam)
Now I want to make it public but it won't.

The ports need to open is:

UDP 27015 and UDP 27020
TCP 27015

I Don't know why this won't work. It's a onine multiplayer game.

The client connects to the server and the server send info back. I just can't get it to work.

Hope someone could help me out on this one.

Thanks for your time...

Kind regards,

Jorn

Hi Jorn,

I'm moving this to the gaming section as you're more likely to get a useful response there.

Thanks!
Tom

Jorn,

I don't know what you've already tried, but this would be my approach:
1.
- Create a new protocol
In the primary connections section:
- Add port 27015 (TCP) Inbound
- Add port 27015 (UDP) Receive Send
- Add port 27015 (UDP) Receive Send
2.
In the secondary connections section:
- Nothing

Create a Server Publishing Rule point it to the computer where CS is played on and use the created protocol.

I think this should work, if the rest of your network configured correctly.

If not and youÆre using an ADSL or Cable modem, check if your modem is forwarding all the traffic to your ISA Server.

edit:

If it still doesn't work, try to find out if these are really the correct port numbers for CS.

(Edit 2) offtopic:
LOL, heb ik net alles in het Engels getypt, zie ik dat je Nederlands bent. [Smile]

Good luck.
