Hello Everyone,

I am having issue on Exchange Front-end queue. If anyone sent mail to Yahoo, Gmail or some domains, the mails will be clear from exchange queue asap. If some other domains like yahoo.co.in, rediffmail.com, or some other localized companies domains, it will take days to go out mails, actually night times we don't have any mails transactions, almost my 512Kbps leased line is free. Even though my exchange queue is not clearing. I don’t have any issues related to incoming mails mails.

We have Trihomed DMZ network scenario, Exchange 2003 front-end in DMZ,  and we use ISA 2006 EE for publishing POP, SMTP & OWA. Can you please help me someone. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Tiru

Tiru,

Sounds like you're having DNS or SMTP Bridgehead issues. Have you tested your DNS server’s ability to resolve external queries? Could your issue be caused by any third-party software installed and running on the Exchange or ISA server; such as SPAM filtering or Anti-virus software?

Thanks for your reply RB,

I can able to query external DNS servers also. I was having Trendmicro Scanmail & Officescan clinet on that server, now we stopped.  And we have top of this ISA, PIX 535 firewall and we dont have any outgoing policy restrictions.

And i wanted to make more clear about my setup before going to any extend.
I was having single ISA 2004 EE with 3 NICs (Internal, External & DMZ).
Internal: 172.16.7.x
DMZ: 192.168.80.x
External: 192.168.79.x

Recently we upgraded my setup to ISA 2006 with NLB, the virtual IP address are same as ISA 2004, only server names are changed. We have not done any changes top of this ISA (Means PIX configuration changes). After upgradation i am getting these kind of issues.

Yesterday i had been enbled loging on Exchange Front-end. After enable i am seeing below Warnings on Application events. Any other tips for me :)
