Hi

We were using ISA Server 2000 with Firewall client on our Windows XP machines. We just did a clean install of ISA Server 2004 Beta. Initially, the Firewall Clients on the client PCs were left untouched, and it worked well with ISA Server 2004. However, when we replaced the ISA Server 2000 Firewall Client with the new ISA Server 2004 Firewall Client, Outlook 2003 stopped sending & receiving mails (We POP our mails from our mail server, and do not use any mail server solution on our network). A few PCs still use ISA Server 2000 Firewall Client, and these work fine with ISA Server 2004. Now, I have no way of reverting back to the older ISA Server 2000 Firewall Client, as these have to be installed from the automatically created network share. What could be reason?

All our desktops use Windows XP Professional, SP1a.

Hi Prashanth,

You should be able to use the Add/Remove Programs applet to remove the ISA 2004 firewall client, and then install the ISA 2000 firewall client from the installation share on the ISA 2000 firewall machine.
