Hi,

I have setup our ISA 2004 standard as an internal firewall creating a boundry between our servers and Clients.

This is working nicely as it is still a pilote project, giving me more controle over who can access what resource on the network.

I do however have 2 questions.

  1. at the moment the servers and clients are connected to a single NIC 1GB interface in effect limiting the physical bandwidth to 1 GB between servers and clients. I knew this in advanced and measured the network usage and this is not really a problem but i was wondeirng if there was a way to boost the available bandwith? Can i team NIC's in ISA or is there a bigger interface card i can use to increase bandwith?
  2. sometimes I see spikes in the packes/sec,... as all users are on a 10mbits this is not slowing the network down to greatly I am following the ISA using perfmon and am trying to figure out if there is an easy and quick way to get a real time view on who i using X % of the bandwith or who is using the most packets per sec? Any ideas on how i could monitor the real time user to packets per sec / bandwidth or the protocoal to pakcets per sec / bandwith usage?

cheers,

Tom
