Greetings-

Planning to install a second NIC while running in single NIC configuration.

Will this pose any problems in my current configuration w/ web publishing rules and access rules?

Thanks
Yorgy

how are you publishing using a Single NIC Adapter ISA Server ??

Server publishing. Server publishing is not supported. Because there is no separation of Internal and External networks, ISA Server cannot provide the NAT functionality required in a server publishing scenario.

and whats the purpose for this 2nd NIC ?? External Network  NIC  ??

I am publishing internal sites just fine, at least till now. I have not run across any problems thus far.

We have an external firewall at the perimiter which listens to external requests using a public NAT address and forwards to private IP addressed on ISA.

I am seeing a problem that I believe requires to have a second NIC, for the purpose of Server publishing.

I cannot publish a Terminal Server session from the web without the Server publishing rule.

So, I have a one NIC configuration that is plugged into a DMZ switch and would like to use another NIC for my LAN, is this something that I should avoid?
