Im having problems with gamespy comrade firewall settings
here are the ports that need to be opened

  • 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
  • 28900 (Master Server List Request)
  • 29900 (GP Connection Manager)
  • 29901 (GP Search Manager)
  • 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
  • 6515 (Dplay UDP)
  • 6500 (Query Port)

    I've tried 2 things

1:) I've created firewall entries for all the above
however in the ISA logging it gives error accessing port 28900
which i set to outgoing TCP.

2.) I created 7 access rules to "all outbound traffic" and set each access rule to only open the above ports

the only way I can connect is if I create an access rule and use to allow "all outbound traffic " option to my PC which ofcourse defeats the purpose of a firewall lol...

can anyone shed some light as to how to open the correct ports ?

if I enable allow "all protocols" and all ports opened to my PC everything runs fine
