Our server is Windows 2000, with ISA 200.
I recently installed 3 machines onto the network only to find that after I install the ISA client, the computer will not perform autoenrollment, and hence I cannot access netword drives, or the server. Error messages vary but basically say "an attempt to compromise security has been detected" or something along those lines.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Uninstall ISA client. Register the machines then reinstall ISA client.

By register the machine I mean join the domain. :-)

The machine was already on the domain, and we have tried removing it and putting it back on the domain, and reinstallly the client. It seems that once the isa client is installed, it cannot contact the domain controller.

Did you add the local internal domain to the "local domains" tab for the firewall client config on the ISA server?

I dont see an option like that in afraid in the isa client config. The only place I see anything like that is in the Web Browswer config where it says Allow direct access to the computers specified in the LDT.

The f/wall client has been working fine on all machines we installed up until last year some time, and the only thing I can think of is that a particular windows update is causing the issue.

BTW, its SBS 2000 With ISA 2000

I think with ISA 2000 one needs to manage the LAT.

Pardon my ignorance, but I am not sure what you mean.

Sorry but I have not worked with ISA 2000 in a few years so just going on memory. Try to google ISA 2000 LAT as it will return lots of hits.

Basically, if the internal network is properly defined, the firewall client will not intercept local traffic.
