We have an external monitoring services which monitors our uptime. Since installing ISA 2004, we're having some problems. Our monitors keep going off even though our services are not down. I looked in the logs from ISA and some communication is being denied.

I'm seeing this with our HTTP, SMTP, POP3, and FTP Services primarily. Could ISA be blocking. Traffic is being denied even though its allowed by a publishing or access rules. The log is blank in the rule column for these occurances.

Could a function of ISA be blocking this communication, like an application filter? Or does anyone have any further experience or suggestions with this problem?
