Is it possible to have a laptop user connect to the web through the ISA 2004 server without using the proxy client software? This user is on the road a lot, but when on site needs access to the web. I don't want to install a client, as that could cause problems for the user when on the road. I have tried pointing the browser to the gateway, and tried using auto detect settigns, but I can not get out unless the client is installed.

Hi Anonymous,

I'm not sure I understand the question. The Web Proxy client config does not require software installation.

Thanks!
Tom
