Is it possible to publish a web site that is not part of the internal network. Let's say it is hosted on the Internet and someone else owns it. But, I want to create an external DNS entry for my domain have that IP point to ISA. Then when someone types in that host name I put in my dns it goes to the ISA server then ISA publishes a site that is outside. Confused? Yeah me too. Basiclly what I am trying to do is publish a web site that is on the Internet but checks to see what IP is hitting it and based on that IP is lets you in. So, I thought instead of setting up an externally accessible web forward proxy and have users at home configure their web browser, I would create a DNS entry in my domain, point it to ISA, have ISA listen for that hostname and publish a site that is somewhere else on the Internet. Probably no possible is it? I have tried with no luck. My guess is it isn't possible.

Hi Frank,

Might work. I haven't tried that, but I have used redirections on a Web Publishing Rule that redirects the incoming connections to an external site and that works fine.
