Hi,

i need to publish an application that need port 22 & 80 to be open. I have ISA 2006 Standard. External client will need to connect to Public IP and then mapped to the Private IP assign to the server. Should I use server publishing or there is another way to do this? Can I NAT the IP ? Thanks for advice

You can create a Server Publishing Rule for TCP port 22.

Is the TCP port 80 a Web site?

Thanks!
Tom

Thanks Schinder,

port 80 is not a website. I understand that the apps on client need this 80 & 22 to communicate with server. So, can I set both on server publishing rule? Thanks!

Hi,

you can create a new protocol for these two ports and use server publishing rule to publish the server.

NAT is the default relationship between the External and Internal network objects.

Keep in mind that if you create a new protocol TCP port 80 inbound, you have to make sure that no Web Listener is using the same IP address that will be used for the Listener in the Server Publishing Rule for that protocol.

HTH,
Tom
