Hi,

I have a question regarding Sharepoint Services and ISA Server 2000.

We have followed the Sharepoint Deployment Kit that was posted on this site to publish our Sharepoint Services website through ISA using a web publishing rule.

Everything works great, except that sometimes uploading a document (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) fails. Everything seems to work fine until after the upload procedure. The documents just don't show up in the document library. We don't get any errors. Also this problem is not consistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Has any of you ever seen this behaviour?

Thanks,

Wim.

Chris,

Yes we have FP1 installed. As document types we only have the http type selected (also tried it with document type). As Translation I first had http: -> https: because we have SSL enabeled of course. Because this gave problems with some http links, I have changed this now to http://external server fqdn -> https://external server fqdn

Thanks,

Wim.

Hi,

I have the same problem by one of our customers. Everything works, but i can't upload files It's an SBS2003 server with ISA2000 installed.

The default website is listening to 443 so i tried a lot of combinations of Link Translation and Bridging. But it only works if i publish HTTP (but that's not an option).

I tried to bridge the SSL request to HTTP with no result. I also configured the virtual server to listen on SSL on port 4433 and redirected the SSL traffic to this port without any result.

I also tried several link translation configurations depending on the bridging configuration.
http-->https
https://site">https://site:4433-->https://site
site:4433-->site:443
etc
etc

From the internal network it works perfect. With or without SSL. From external it only works with http. The site works perfect and only uploading files is a problem.

I hope somebody solved this problem in all those years :)

I am having a similar problem.  I am publishing Sharepoint 2003 through ISA 2004.  Everything seems to work fine except for uploading documents.  When you upload the document it doesn't appear in the documnet library.  I think the file is there though, because if I try and upload the document again with the "Overwrite" option off, it will give me an error that the file already exists.

It all works fine if uploading documents from internal network.  I can see documents that I uploaded from internal network from inside or outside.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Bill
