In the complete knowledge that you all are a lot smarter than me when it comes to implementing ISA 2004, here I am with my little problem.

First, some configurations:

Hardware: Dell PowerEdge 840
OS: Windows 2000 SBS SP4 with IIS 5.0
ISA 2004 on a single network adapter
Server's IP: 192.168.1.100
External IP: 212.118.*.***

I have some library software that needs to run from this server and be accessible from the outside. I have managed to make the catalogue and everything else work from the internal network, using the name of the server for an address. However, when I try to connect to it using the server's dedictated IP, I get a Failed Connection Attempt. I guess I will need to use a Web Publishing Rule (rather than a Server Publishing Rule which isn't supported on a single NIC?), but I'm unsure of the settings. Is this even possible with a single NIC?
I have set up the Virtual Directory for the folder to be published, as well as anonymous access through the IUSR account, as instructed by the software, so I'm pretty sure the problem doesn't lie there.

If you have any suggestions as to how to set up a rule that would allow external connections under these circumstances, I would very much appreciate any input. If you need any more details, just let me know and I'll supply them. I'm a complete novice so please be gentle.

Thanks for any help.

Nevermind, fixed it. Had nothing to do with ISA in the end. Silly me.
