Hi, I have setup an ISA for guest clients; the guest clients allow to use their own laptops to go online. The problem is that i have to assign the web proxy to http://server:8080 in each browser. Are there anyway that i can automatically assign web proxy address to each guest clients? or are there any method ????

Hi, IF you do not require authentication from your visitors, then u can set them as SecureNat clients , this is done by: 1- Set their Default Gateway to point to ISA Internal Nic IP. 2- Create a rule in ISA, make sure that this rule is localted ABOVE rules that enforce authentication, make sure to use the Condition ALL USERS. HTH, Tarek

I actually want all the guest clients to be able to get online without mannually putting the proxy address in their browser and authentication. Like whenver they plugin the cable or sign on with the wireless, they can access to the internet.

Oh, I have already created such rule in my isa, but the guest clients still need to enter the proxy address in their web browsers in order to browse the websites.

Do u have an Internal DNS Server , which forward external requests to your ISP DNS Servers ?

My ISA is a standalone server. It only has the DHCP service to assign ip to guest clients This is my network structure Primary Server(DNS, DHCP, WDS, IIS,)- >office clients \ \ ISA Server 2006 Enterprise (DHCP) -> Guest Clients I have setup the auto discovery for the ISA server. and setup the wpad already. http://isa server:80/wpad.dat For IE, the auto discovery is good for it. But, for Firefox, i need to use the wpad.dat So, i am wondering what should i do with the Firefox setting because the auto discovery not really work with it.?
