hi,

im trying to configure RPC over HTTP and followed the link below. i still cant get it to work. i have OWA working and FBA is enabled on ISA not on exchange. Please can someone guide or provide instructions on which dont have any missing info. Procedure 7 is a little confusing in this article.

Zaf,
there are at least 3 different procedure 7 in that article.
Please tell which one are you referring to

hi Fabrizo,

first i like to thank you for replying back to my post, since ive been registered ive submitted about 3 post with none replies. i was starting to get worried.

ok, "enable external client access to exchange server" its the step 5 "select services" i selected outlook (rpc) and follwed evrything else as the tutorial. then i did the procdure 8 etc.

when i tried to login from outlook i can see it hits the ISA in logging, but dosn't work.

in fact it will be better if you can help to acomplish this from start. i have OWA working. please help and i thank you for all your help and time!!!

The section you are referring to is just saying that you need to select which services are bound to what protocols (http or https).
Since you want to have RPC over HTTP you need NOT to specify RPC there.
For a complete guide i'd suggest to dowanlad and follow step by step one of those article here or on msexchange.org website
