Has anyone got any experience, good or bad, with RainWall for high availability.

Thanks

Roger

Hi Roger,

Not sure if they have a version yet for ISA 2004. But the ISA 2000 version rocked.

HTH,
Tom

Hi ,

I have quite a lot of experience with Rainwall , and most of it with version 4 was very good.
Now they have version 5 and this version is absolutely very very stable and just works very very good.

Anyway , the price is too high for our schools to pay for such a product. It's the only drawback we found

Kind regards,
LexP.

Hi Lex,

How about if that software were included in a cost effective ISA firewall appliance?

Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom ,

I don't understand what you mean ?
You mean if the software were included in our school licensing program ? That would mean if would cost us approx 50$ for unlimited functionality per year. That would certainly be cost-effective.

Kind regards,
LexP.

Hi Lex,

It would be for the appliance, since it would be a "hardware" firewall, like a CP or Symantec device.

Thanks!
Tom
