I have a front and back ISA 2004 setup and am using firewall client. When I try to go to an ssl site I am getting a "Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The host was not found.(11001)" message. The ISA's are chained together using web chaining for the proxy.I can get to the rest of the Internet with no problems.Thanks.

Hi Tom, On the dmz interface I do not have any DNS configured. On the LAN interface I have our internal DNS servers configured on that.I am using the ISA as a caching name server using my ISP DNS with access rules as forwarders. If you need any other information please let me know. Thanks.

Tom, Here is the error message , am I missing something in the access rules? Starting to run out of ideas.
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port is not allowed. ISA Server is not configured to allow SSL requests from this port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests. (12204)
It is an intranet server, HR web page.
Thanks again for your help. [ October 25, 2005, 07:41 PM: Message edited by: buzzcut ]

Ahhh - you need to extend the SSL Tunnel port range.
See MS' article on this - Managing Tunnel Port Ranges.

ClintD, Thanks for the suggestion, added the extra port and received this error after trying to access the website.
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The host server is unreachable. (10065)
Thanks again for the help.

Hmmm...did you extend the Tunnel Range on both ISA Servers? It slipped my mind earlier - sorry.
the problem is for this one site only right? [ October 26, 2005, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: ClintD ]

ClintD, Hey no problem, I put the other tunnel port on the outside and got thru.Pages are very slow to load though. Two things bothering me.On the IE page at the bottom it still shows it going as a Internet site. This is an Intranet site and supposedly does not have access from the outside.Do I have some kind of loop going on here?Again thanks for the assistance.
