I have a couple of questions about using this as a web proxy.

1st-- I have internal web servers, which I do not want users to go through the proxy. I can put these servers in the exceptions list, but I was hoping I could just tell ISA 2004 to not process those and send them to the intenal address. I thought I read something on this somewhere on this site, but can't seem to find it now. Any Ideas?

2nd-- How well does this platform function as a web proxy? And are there any addins or third party tools to allow for the restriction for types of sites users can surf?

Well, I answered one of my questions. Should have looked down a little further. It seems like GFI has an app to prevent sites, but I'm not sure if its types of site or specific URLs and Is till do nto know if the perfomance is accepatble using a third party tools like this.

-->Configure those sites for Direct Access. The method is essentially the same as that used in ISA 2000. I have an article on Web Proxy clients and Direct Access over at www.isaserver.org/shinder

-->Lot of 3rd party stuff. GFI has a number of tools, and ISA 2004 has it built in. You can even popular the Domain Sets or URL sets with a text file.
HTH,
Tom
