I have an SBS 2003 Premium server running ISA, and I recently added a GoDaddy wildcard SSL certificate to secure Exchange and other server communications.

We are a software company and our application communicates to this server for software registration/validation purposes.  Ever since I installed the SSL certificate, the registration/validation functions no longer work because the software is only set to communicate visa HTTP on port 80, not SSL's 443.  These communicate by calling an ASP file:  http://www.domainname.com/directoryname/filename.asp.

So -- does ISA (or even IIS) force communications over HTTPS/SSL if it's available?  Is there a way I can configure this incoming traffic to only go HTTP/port 80?

Thanks!

I'm not really clear on what your trying to do and what the applicable ISA configs are for this problem.

Did you add the SSL Cert to your Exchange/OWA server or a web listener on ISA?

Does the site/page:
http://www.domainname.com/directoryname/filename.asp.
Go through ISA as a reverse or forward proxy?

Do you need the url above dymanically re-written to:
httpS://www.domainname.com/directoryname/filename.asp.
