Hey guys,

Been out of IT for awhile so take it easy...
I have a 2 NIC config and just added a 3rd for DMZ.
I want to configure a SMTP filter outside the internal network.
My question is where is the best location for it?
DMZ or External interface?

Internal = 10.98.10.x
Eternal = Public IP
DMZ = 192.168.200.x

I was thinking of putting it on the DMZ and use internal SQL for the DB.
If i do it this way do i need to point Gateway of the SMTP filter server to DMZ nic or route straight to router?
