Hi,

Has anyone setup an SMTP relay on an ISA Server or another box inside the DMZ which is not directly connected to or only via a one-way trust to the Windows AD forest?

I'm looking for insight on how to implement LDAP Routing or some other way to prevent the queues from being jammed up with spam addressing invalid addresses. I'd like to use the ISA SMTP Filter and prevent the requests from getting to my Exchange Server if they are for invalid addresses. There seems to be little documentation on LDAP routing (which appears to be a potential solution).

Thanks,
Colin

Hi Colin,

I've seen nothing on LDAP routing. I'll see if there's any info out there, as this sounds like a nice idea for an article. However, I'm not sure how this will solve the core issue.

Thanks!
Tom
