Hi, all
I am beginner in ISA 2004 Server.
I have successfully installed and configured ISA 2004 firewall - DMZ model.
I have published SSL Web server - http to https bridging model (I have exported digital certificate from Web to ISA).
Now programmers asking me to setup mail server for sending messages through Web application from specified e-mail account(sending function only).
I am stricted in time, so pleease, help me with an advice:
Is it nessesary to set-up mail server machine, or it will be enough to setup SMTP Virtual server on Web server machine ????

P.S. MX record to public ip for mail-server is made by ISP

Good day,

Setup an SMTP server on a box internally and if it only is used to send mail allow it though ISA by allowing the SMTP protocol outbound, if you need it to receive mail publish the box using the mail publishing wizard [Smile]
