Hello,

we have ISA 2004 and external mail server mail.somedomain.com which is added in trusted SMTP servers. However we can`t comunicate with this (or any other which we tried) e-mail server since we are getting the error during Ident protocol (113 port number). portqry -n mail.somedomain.com -e 25 works fine when firewall service is stoped, but when is active there is the error "Port did not return extended data - request timed out". I have activated monitoring on ISA and noticed that default rule denaing connection on port 113. Then I have added rule whit Ident protocol from mailserver to ISA (and internal) - but this rule just initialize and close connection?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
