I have installed and configured the ISA server. I also have configured the OWA for my users that is working very fine.

Now the need is that I need to point the MX record to point to 2nd LAN card (binded with a valid IP as well) to redirect all my external mails instead of stored at an ISP.

Am not able to connect to that IP address using

telnet <ip address> 25

can any one guide where am I making mistake?

regards
Mehul

Hi Mehul,

how many interface cards has the ISA server? Also, to be able to check out your basic ISA server configuration, please post the following info *unmodified*:
- ipconfig /all on ISA
- route print on ISA
- content of the LAT on ISA

Stefaan

I have 3 NICs, 2 for Valid (real) IPs and 1 for Local IP.

The LAT does not contain the entry of RealIPs.

Both the Real IP address are having Router's IP as a gateway.

This much infor I can provide.

Hi Mehul,

That's not a valid configuration!

ISA can only have one external interface. That means one interface with a default gateway set. So, remove the default gateway from the DMZ interface.

To better understand how ISA 2000 handles DMZ scenario's, check out:
