Hello!

We have ISA 2004 (W2k3 server) with Message Screening Service (IIS) installed. Exchange sits behind ISA. ISA is configured to receive e-mails (SMTP traffic) and forward them, if they're valid, to our Exchange server. If an e-mail is rejected (i.e. its recepient is a random string @ourdomain.com) ISA also tries to send back a NDR. The system policy doesn't allow ISA to send out any SMTP traffic, so these NDRs get stuck in the mail queue.

Is there a way to disable NDR on ISA? If not (I've heard disabling NDR isn't possible on W2k3) is there another solution besides manually deleting those NDRs from queue?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jurca,

I'm sure there is a way to stop NDRs, because I've done it. I had to check the TechNet KB site though.

Hi, Tom!

Thanks, I know what HTH means. What I meant was that being able to stop NDRs would help... in reply to your HTH [Smile]

Have you found out anything yet?
