Hi

I have a home network with ISA connecting to my ADSL. I've configured the ISA as a DHCP server and also followed the instructions about setting it up as a DNS Forwarder.

If I use the firewall client then I can access the web. If I ping a site (with or without the firewall client) I can see the resolve taking place and the packets not getting through.

I have Protocol Rule for All Ip Traffice/Allow/Any Request/Always but this doesn't do the trick.

What have I missed?

Hi,

Try to add dialup entry @ Policy element/dial-up entries , then right click properties of Network Configuaration and check the option "use dialup entries"

Hi

Thanks for that. I had already configured this - I don't think that the connection is the problem as I've checked that it's stayed up.

One thing that I'm not sure of is that I would have expected something in the logs and there isn't.

After looking around there appeared to be some postings about this only being available to client sets. I've set up one client set that encompasses all of my LAT but to no avail. [Confused]

Hi

Well I resorted to uninstalling ISA, reinstalling it and then adding SP2 and then configuring it and it works!

Previously I had done the install and then configure and then SP2.

Well all resolved - don't know why but does has anyone else come across this?
