I am having problems with ISA 2000 SOCKS v4, or i think so.

I realized this when i could not sign-in to msn messenger, so i went to messenger, tools, options ,conections and advanced settings. I clicked "Test SOCKS 4 connection."

The reply i got was an error saying:
"we were unable to connect (81000389)"

Setting up Socks for MSN is the lazy man's way. It does not give you granularity of access. Why not setup ISA to allow MSN using web proxy instead? At least with web proxy, you can control who uses it.

Well how you do it. I have been reading many posts on this same site about messenger problem but when i try it, it does not make a difference.

My problem is sometimes messenger would not connect and if it does connect(sometimes [Confused]
