My web server queries a SQL Database outside my network. Currently I have a direct connection bypassing my ISA2004 Server. How do I allow these queries to pass through ISA. Do I publish the web server again on another network sement and only allow SQL traffic?

Hi Wayne,

If the Web server is on one of the ISA firewall's protected networks, then you'll create an Access Rule on the ISA firewall to allow outbound access to the SQL server through the ISA firewall.

Tom,

I have a multihomed webserver. One nic is used to publish the webite and the other nic is used for SQL updates. Currently I have the website published throuth ISA2004 and now want to bring SQL traffic through ISA2004. Does the website need to be published again for the other network interface.
